  1. “Tiny Frogs ring in spring”

In this article it tells you about tiny male frogs peeping to meet their mates in the springtime. The frogs have brown eyes that are so tiny. The frogs also have tan bodies. These creatures also have sticky pads on their feet. I think that these creatures are very smart.

  2. The story I read was "Cat Adopts Dog". You would probably think cats & dogs would never get along but when baby puppy Charlie had his mom sick and die. Satin mom of a family of cats was willing to add one more to her family. So Satin began feeding the puppy Charlie for 3 and a half weeks. And that's the incredible story of how a generous mother took a baby puppy just as if it was one of her own.

  5. Hot Dogs: Doggone Good Time at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Shows
This story is about a dog show. Some dogs take 2 hours to groom them. Dog owners travel all over the world to bring their dogs in, and see the dog shows. Some dogs are puffy, hairless, big, and tinny. Some dogs are based on their eye color, the height, their weight, and the fur cote. And that's what the story is about.

  7. The main idea of this article is if animals can be nice.
Scientists recently discover that animal who live in groups, such as elephants, foxes, and wolves, are especially likely to follow rules. Group members would half to live alone. Sometimes ,through, animals go out of there way to do what’s right, even when there’s nothing in it for them. So that is my story.

  9. In the article “Tiny Frogs Ring in Spring” it is about frogs called “spring peepers” and how the peep all night long. Spring peepers are tan or in color with dark lines that form an X on their backs. They grow to about 1.5 inches (3.8 centimeters) in length, and have large toe pads that act as suction cups for climbing. You can hear the frogs chirp from about a half-mile away! Spring peepers are a type of frog that lives in logs. I have learned so much from this one news article.

  11. “The Secret Language of Dolphins” was a story about people trying to figure out how dolphins communicate. The story talked about a mother dolphin and her two-year-old calf that were separated into two tanks and still communicated! I learned that dolphins can swim at a speed of 20 miles per hour. Dolphins also fight for dominance. It was lots of fun learning about how dolphins can communicate through their own secret language.

  13. I read the “Lungless Frog” article on National Geographic Kids. It’s about a lungless frog they discovered around 1978. It is flatter than other frogs and lives in cold water instead of warm. Scientists are still trying to find more about it.
